Can I Legally Grow My Own Marijuana In Nevada?

The answer is yes. But there are rules.

1. You must be 21 years or older and a resident of Nevada.

2. You can grow no more than 6 plants at a time and have no more than 12 plants in your possession. 6 of those plants cannot be flowering.

3. It is okay to grow for another person.

4. You may possess all of the marijuana from your 6 plants.

5. You must grow your marijuana in an enclosed space.

6. You may give away no more than an ounce, to a person, of your excess marijuana.

7. You may not sell your excess marijuana.

8. And the BIG rule! You can only grow your own marijuana if you live 25 miles or more from a dispensary.
